The event is in the spirit of the exhibitions that we used to hold after each group of ten artists, and the annual events that we held at MOCAD for a number of years. With the pandemic, we decided to do something similar online. We’ll probably read a few sections from the essays, highlight a few works, and have an informal discussion with the artists. It’s a great way to get to know some remarkable Detroit artists. Just take a look at the list it’s really a stellar group! Truly the Detroit art world has an almost unfathomably deep bench.
